Revelation 22 Commentary
The perfection of Heaven is such that there isn’t another Boardroom decision on anything. There is no plan B for Eden. It comes back as per the original plan. Satan hasn’t altered anything.
The Tree of Life features quite prominently. Whatever it means! Humanity can now freely access the Tree of Life – the forbidden Tree!
We began our study of the scripture by focusing on God’s triad blessing as found in Genesis 1 verse 28. Three items are important: Increase, prosperity, and dominion.
“And they will reign for ever and ever” Verse 5. Humanity was created in the image of God to rule. Now they can rule.
Verse 17 references the water of life as a free gift. We can have it now. Of course, this should be breaking news! An individual can have Jesus now! You can walk together with the gloom to your wedding day. The gloom doesn’t choose His bride on the wedding day!
Revelation is written as an invitation to ready oneself for this walk. You walk with the gloom in the thicket of this Earth’s troubles but the wedding day comes. The Lamb shall make it unimaginably worth it. Our minds cannot accommodate this concept.
But we know we have it within reach. Yes, death shall be defeated. Trouble shall come to an end. Bad people won’t be part of it. It’s all beauty and serenity! The Garden of Peace and tranquility shall be our home again!
If your heart longs for the presence of the Lamb, know you have walked the right path!
